Lexin launched during Fasilkom UI’s 39th anniversary on 18–19 November 2025, following the opening of the new Zone III building. The center was initiated by Dr. Adila Alfa Krisnadhi and Dr. Panca Hadi Putra, with Dr. Alfan Farizki Wicaksono, Rahmad Mahendra and Prof. Dr. Indra Budi.
Lexin builds on years of research, from machine learning and knowledge graphs to legal document datasets and court-decision prediction models. Its work has two strands: legal informatics research, and engineering and product development.
The launch also highlighted Lexin’s ties with the Directorate General of Taxes and the Directorate General of Intellectual Property.
