Rahmad Mahendra serves as a Director at Universitas Indonesia Center for Legal Informatics (Lexin), where his expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and related fields drives the center’s innovative projects and research. With a Master of Science in Informatics from the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Universitas Indonesia, Mahendra’s academic background lays a robust foundation for his work. Currently a Ph.D. candidate at RMIT Univerrsity, his research interests span a wide array of NLP areas, including Text Mining, Information Extraction, Recommender Systems, Computational Linguistics, Question Answering Systems, and Social Media Analytics. With extensive experience leading diverse teams in various resource initiatives within the NLP community, Mahendra’s leadership is instrumental in fostering collaboration and advancing the development of cutting-edge legal informatics tools and technologies that cater to the evolving needs of the legal profession.
